Re: Understanding the ".csv" file generated by "save chart data"

Hi Pramit, the plot exports the dates as serial dates (something excel understands). All you need to do is format those cells as a date and excel will display the right thing (I think its on the Home ribbon under Number, normally it says "General" but you can change it to "Short date", "Long date" e...

Re: SetText to the value of a string variable.

Hi Brad, I think it means there isn't a function in the library that supports a string type. You would need to add a function to the library to handle strings or whatever type finalValue is (essentially turning the fix you found into a generic function in the interfacepanel library).

Re: Visualize values on Interface Panel

Hi Thomas, yep its possible. Check out this section of the documentation for more detail http://www.megunolink.com/documentation/#interface-panel This example shows you how to do it using our Arduino library. http://www.megunolink.com/documentation/interface-panel/mlp-ui-message-processor-library/ G...

Re: Connecting to a Yun

Hi Bill, unfortunately we don't really have any experience with the Yun. We know the standard arduino ethernet shield can send UDP packets and MegunoLink can successfully communicate with it. This article discusses it. http://www.megunolink.com/articles/arduino-ethernet-communication-via-udp/ I did ...

Re: Stand alone Interface Panel

Hi guys, currently this is not possible but we are investigating ways to implement this kind of functionality in future releases.

Re: Button pressed feedback information

Hi Don, this is a great solution. An alternative option is to use two images and show or hide them depending on the situation. We did something similar in our air conditioner example.

Re: How TIMEPLOT plot points?

Hi Internetizen, the timeplot visualiser works by receiving data and time stamping it using the computer. In Windows each program is only give a slice of resources in time to function. Because of this the timing may not always be even and MegunoLink may not be able to keep up with your data stream. ...

Re: TIME PLOT

Hi Internetizen, instead of using Time plot you could use x-y plot which lets you specify an x and y axis value. For the x-axis value specify the millis timer in your arduino (or equivalent) and your data value for the y axis. See here for more info http://www.megunolink.com/documentation/plotting/x...
