I am interested to know what is a realistic maximum charting rate? I have a data acqusition project and would like to know what rate I can realistically expect to chart.

Is there documentation to show what these sorts of limits are? Obviously there are likely variations dependent on the PC hardware/config.

We dont really provide much guidance on this. Megunolink just timestamps data as it is received so the faster baud rates you use the faster you can send. There are also issues with windows though where the operating system allocates resource to megunolink so you might end up getting irregular x axis spacing between records.

Of course if you use xy plot or timeplot where you provide your own x-axis values it should solve that problem. Then its just down to how quickly you can send bytes to the PC.

In conclusion too many variables and stuck with a try it and see scenario.
