Re: start/stop timeplot and save file with new name each cycle

Nice work! One way is just to store the current millis time when you start a run and use millis()-StoredTime as your time base. That way it will always start at zero.

Re: start/stop timeplot and save file with new name each cycle

Hi, I think you should be able to use the stop logging function. Then generate a new filename and start logging again. This page has details https://www.megunolink.com/documentation/logging/message-logger/ You can see the library file here https://github.com/Megunolink/MLP/blob/master/utility/Messag...

Re: Change Reporting Preferences/ Pushover messaging from built application?

Hi Greg, unfortunately reporting is not officially supported by builder. Pushover should work with the settings you put in at the megunolink level... Its not working?

Hi, we are not familar with that hardware. Did you have any luck?

Hi Rich, unfortunately our library only supports the internal EEPROM.

Re: Font Size in App

Hi, not that I am aware of. You could adjust the scaling on your computer. We just use the standard windows display size, shouldn't be any smaller than the rest of the programs on your computer.

Re: XY plot no Title and Lable

Hi, did you have any luck getting this going? When I run your code (using the standard serial port since I don't have the same hardware as you) it works fine. Make sure you are definitely using the XYPlot and not the Time Plot visualiser.

Re: File Handling

Hi Bruce, nothing special natively. You'd need to trigger some kind of serial retrieval and use the logger to save the data to a text or csv file or someting.

If the Teensy supports Arduino then our library should work.

Re: Import Data from non-configurable serial devices

Hi Greg, unfortunately we dont support any kind of arbitrary protocols. You would need to implement some kind of translation. Maybe a small cheap micro could receive the message and convert it into a MegunoLInk format?

Re: Sample rate

Hi, to answer your questions: You can do high frequency sampling if you buffer them on your arduino and stream the numbers across. If you plan to do it in real time it will be limited by the baud rate of your serial port and megunolink is probably only good for maybe 10 or 20 samples per second. We ...
