Hi, unfortunately megunolink does not support that kind of connection. Maybe an arduino can be used to bridge the parallel port to a standard serial port?

Seems like a bug. Will add to the list.

We dont really provide much guidance on this. Megunolink just timestamps data as it is received so the faster baud rates you use the faster you can send. There are also issues with windows though where the operating system allocates resource to megunolink so you might end up getting irregular x axis...

Hi John, no good answer from us on this one. We havent seen the same thing. Have you got another computer you could try? If you disable updates does it stop failing (not even sure you can disable them these days).

You could have an indicator which flashes on and off to indicate that the comms are running and the numbers should be up to date.

Hi, did you have any luck with this one? We dont do anything fancy with the serial ports so should work just the same.
