My interface panel has 4 buttons to energize relays (On) and 4 buttons to de-energize the relays (Off). I would like an indication back from Arduino that the action was completed. I wanted to have a box that would change colors to indicate On (Green) or Off (Red) but I see no way of doing that.
Will the progress bar do something like that? If so are there any examples I can use?
Is there possibly another way like maybe changing the button color when the action is completed?
I can't find any discrete operations in any of the examples only analog operations.
Any help is appreciated.

I was experimenting and think I've partially answered my question about the progress bar. I can set the progress to "0" and the background is red (off) and then set it to "100" to get a color of green (on) just like I wanted. Now I have to work on the code to do that but I don't think it will be too hard.
I didn't try changing button color yet. Maybe someone has already done that and can let me know how.

Hi Don, this is a great solution. An alternative option is to use two images and show or hide them depending on the situation. We did something similar in our air conditioner example.
