Using micros other than Arduino with Megunolink

I am considering using Megunolink with micro controllers other than Arduino. E.g. PIC and more immediately the Micromite platform with a view to doing a logger project and hopefully publish it. I see the forum topics are almost 100% Arduino related: have you much information on working outside the Arduino framework?

Hi Peter, everything is serial message based so will work fine. However, the libraries are Arduino focused so you would need to port a subset of the features to work with your micro-controller.
